Everyday, we are faced with a number of problems like both physically and mentally, and how we react to them will reflect on how happy we are. We can grind our teeth in pain at horrible things that have happened to us, or we can find a better way to deal with the problem.
One of the effective methods that I have learned is to find the opportunity in every problem. A problem is only a problem if we think it is. If instead we see it as something good, then it's not going to cause frustration, anger, irritation, sadness.
Some examples:
1. Someone is stubbornly opposing your change to become healthier, or to do something, or vegan, etc. The opportunity is teachable moment that you can take that opportunity to share why you're doing what you're doing, why it's important, and in doing so, educate others.
2. When you fail, an opportunity to learn from failure. Experimenting new ideas and convert it to success.
Turn problems into opportunities
* Pay attention to the times when you're having difficulty. What is frustrating you? This problem is an opportunity.
* When you notice a problem, search for opportunity. It's is there if you look.
*Some ideas for opportunities: the opportunity to practice patience, to remember to be grateful, to meet someone new, to explore a new area, to learn, to get better at something, to educate, to let go, to be present, to breathe.
* Write down the opportunity, so that it Sail you home.
Whenever you encounter a problem, shift your thinking until you see the opportunity.
