Our lives are moving faster than we imagine and our life style became more hectic than ever before. Each day is getting over before we can really enjoy it.
Slow down to enjoy life means making time to enjoy your day. It means taking time to enjoy whatever you are doing.
Just observe these two cases

Waking late in morning, get busy in social media and rushing to take bath. Not eating the breakfast completely. Then rushing to work or college in a frenzy way. Reaching late to work, then starting work in stressful way and not able to concentrate on work that you do. Then you take moment off and turn on your mobile and notifications, messages rushing from whats app, Facebook, Instagram, email and other social media. Will make a even stressful life which information is coming to from every corner. Even it is distracting from your work. Making things even worse. Then you will return from busy work and you are so tired and then you will get busy in social media up to late night. Then same routine will keep spinning in you life.

A sensation is created within and you are happy. Then take a hot bath and relax. Enjoy your breakfast. Then you go to your work bit early and start your work never before having a smile on face. You find that you are enjoying the work and the stress levels are zero. Then you return to home and take some rest. Give time to your family and be with them. Have your dinner and read the some good novels. And go to bed early. And energetic life starts by enjoying.

What do you see difference in these two cases. What I see that rushing messages from social media taking time away from us and making our life to move bit faster and it is taking away each moment away from us. It is hard to slow down when you are checking new messages coming in. Creating a stressful life but yet we go to it on and on.
Using it less, we able to slow down to enjoy life. Make a conscious choice to do less and focus on what's important and let go of rest.
Just take a breathe when you find yourself speeding up and play the pause by taking deep breathe.
I'm not saying don't use them but it as its limit. Don't be over addicted to social media.
